Why does my ring start at 60% and not zero?

Because nobody is empty. Your body makes about a gram of creatine a day on its own, and meat and fish add more, so a typical person who supplements nothing still sits somewhere around 60% of what their muscles could hold. The gap between that and 100% is the part food and biology cannot reach — and the part a daily dose closes.

I already take creatine. Why does Brim start me near the top?

Because you told it so during setup. If you said you had been supplementing for weeks or months, Brim starts you where that puts you. From there the job is not climbing but not sliding back.

Why did my number go down?

You skipped a day. Muscle creatine is a store, not a switch: with nothing coming in, your body keeps using and excreting it, and the level falls roughly 1–2% a day from full. That decline is exactly why Brim tracks a level instead of a streak — a streak resets to zero and tells you to give up, a store just needs topping back up.

Do I need a loading phase?

No. Loading (about 20 g a day for five to seven days) fills your stores faster; a steady maintenance dose reaches the same place in three to four weeks. Brim offers loading only when it would actually help you — if you are already near full it is not shown at all, because it would do nothing but cost you powder and risk an upset stomach.

How accurate is the percentage?

It is an estimate, not a measurement. Brim runs the doses you log through creatine kinetics published in the peer-reviewed literature, chiefly the ISSN position stand. It is not a blood or muscle test, and it is only as good as your logging.

I forgot to log yesterday.

Tap the day in the week strip at the top of the Today screen, or open the calendar and tap any past day. Backdating is allowed for any day inside your plan; future days are not, since you cannot have taken a dose that has not happened yet.

What does Brim do with my health data?

Only reads, never writes. With your permission it reads your body weight, to keep the recommended dose accurate, and your workouts, to mark training days. That data never leaves your device and is never used for advertising.

Creatine is not a data type Apple Health or Health Connect supports, so doses cannot be written there.

How do I cancel my subscription?

On iPhone: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Brim → Cancel. On Android: open the Google Play app → your profile picture → Payments and subscriptions → Subscriptions → Brim → Cancel. Subscriptions are managed by the store, not by us, and deleting the app does not cancel one.

I paid, but Pro is not showing.

Open Brim, go to the You tab and tap Restore purchases, making sure you are signed in with the same account you bought with — the same Apple Account on iPhone, or the same Google account on Android. If that does not fix it, email us with the date of purchase and we will help.

Can I get a refund?

Refunds are handled by the store you bought from: Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com, Google at play.google.com/store/account/orderhistory. We have no ability to issue them ourselves, but tell us what went wrong — if it is a bug, we would rather fix it.

How do I delete my data?

Delete the app. Everything Brim knows about you — dose history, plan, settings — lives only on your device, so removing the app removes all of it permanently. There is no server copy.
